It is World Cup time. Do not disturb Brazilians, please!

If you do business with Brazil or it is considering doing business, take our advice and do not call during the World Cup next month. The South Africa 2010 World Cup is about to begin on June the 10th. Please, do not disturb because Brazilian will not be talking to you.

It is hard to believe that during Brazilian games, a country that big stops. The only thing that we know for sure that it will not stop it is the emergency rooms.

Brazilian soccer fans go crazy. Brazilian fans are passionate. Due to the dramatic tension during Brazilian matches people die and hospitals are getting ready. Can you believe that?

Brazil is on Group G and it will be playing on the following days.

June 15th – Brazil x Korea
June 20th – Brazil x Cote D’Ivoire
June 25th – Brazil x Portugal

It is an easy group for Brazil and we believe that we go ahead for quarter-final. Then, it gets tough for Semifinal and then final.

The bottom line is whatever it happens with Brazil team, the month of June will be pretty slow and chances are that everything will postponed for July. That’s Brazil. But don’t get discouraged there is election at the end of the year. Oh, boy…what a year!

Forget about working! It's Carnival in Brazil!

It is Carnival time. If you want to do business in Brazil from tomorrow, February the 12th until February, the 18th, forget about it! Nobody works! The only people that basically you find working out of those that have to work no matter what, most of the time it is Carnival business related!

People just don’t talk to you about business because they are not in the mood. If they are not partying, they are relaxing and chances are they go to the beach or to the mountains.

Being the longest break that every Brazilian takes per year, it is the heaviest traffic and the busiest season. After all said and done we are talking about more than 7 straight days!

Again, if you want to talk about business with any Brazilian that lives in Brazil and don’t want to get frustrated, follow our advice and call them on February, the 22nd. You will be better off.
