Forget about working! It's Carnival in Brazil!
It is Carnival time. If you want to do business in Brazil from tomorrow, February the 12th until February, the 18th, forget about it! Nobody works! The only people that basically you find working out of those that have to work no matter what, most of the time it is Carnival business related!
People just don’t talk to you about business because they are not in the mood. If they are not partying, they are relaxing and chances are they go to the beach or to the mountains.
Being the longest break that every Brazilian takes per year, it is the heaviest traffic and the busiest season. After all said and done we are talking about more than 7 straight days!
Again, if you want to talk about business with any Brazilian that lives in Brazil and don’t want to get frustrated, follow our advice and call them on February, the 22nd. You will be better off.
