We are back! Brazilian trade show will be our main topic!
After many years without posting on this blog, we decided to come back.
During all these years, we focused much more on the Portuguese writing because we feel much more comfortable with.
We became an You Tuber, we opened an Instagram and LinkedIn account but we believe that our soft spot is writing.
That's why we came back to the old blog channel.
We plan to post once per month and our main focus will be Brazilian trade shows. Made in Brazil goods and services.

Obama goes to Brazil…it is all about business!
Mr. Obama arrives in Brazil tomorrow and will be speaking in downtown Rio de Janeiro. The speech will be free and open to the public. The main and most important speech is by invitation only.
Needless to say that the secret service and the Brazilian Elite Squad will be working very hard and the security measures will be all time high.
The frenzy is undeniable. Brazil is the seventh largest economy with 7.5% growth last year. The real which is the Brazilian currency is getting stronger. The trading between United States and Brazil is US$ 80 billion and has double these last five years. Brazil is the largest Florida commercial partner. Do we have to mention the petroleum?
Last but not least, the coveted World Cup will be held in Brazil in 2014 and the Olympic Game will be held in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. After all said and done, due to the international well known logistic bottleneck in Brazil, it is expected to be invested more than US$ 200 billion in airports, roads, public transportations, hotels, sport facilities, etc. Get ready!

President Obama is going to Brazil. Are you ready?
Make no mistake but this announcement during the State of the Union this last Tuesday addressed to the Congress created a buzz.
The trip will be in March and it will be his first trip to South America. Mr. Obama will be visiting Chile and El Salvador during his 5 days trip as well.
Whatever happens during and/or after this trip , due to the Brazilian economic size and weight, we will have some shockwaves in Washington. Are you ready to do business in Brazil?

Brazil is already the place to do business with this decade
We dare to say that every one was caught by surprise especially here in the United States, when CBS broadcasted Brazil's rising star special report on 60 Minutes. On a 13 minutes video, Brazil was said to be the country and the market to do business with for the next decade due to his stable and growing economy.
Definitely, Brazil is finishing this year strong and is on the right track. But we have 3 questions:
1) Is Brazil ready for this new era?
2) Are Brazilians ready for this new era?
3) What about you, are you ready?
In case you have missed it, this is on YouTube.

It is election time in Brazil and USA. Are you voting for you or for the country?
You are reading this blog now and you might be asking yourself what this business blog between United States and Brazil has to do with election in both countries?
We are sorry but we just can’t separate church from the state. We just can’t see or understand a government without the moral principles that the bibles says.
All we have to do is to look at history. Read all the stats before and after major religious decisions were made. Whether you are agree or not, whether you believe or not, that is a fact.
Do you remember the American founding fathers moral and religious principles? It is really sad that people and politicians had forgotten...and these principles made this country, the greatest country ever.
In Brazil is no different and Brazilians are going to the same direction, taking the same path and pay attention who Brazilians are considering to elect the next president.
No matter what people say but whomever Americans elect in this midterm election or Brazilians elect as the new president will have a generation to come impact.
The bible teaches us on Proverbs 29:12 – “if a ruler pays attention to lies, all his servants become wicked".
Also in the same book on verse 24 says that whoever is a partner with a thief hates his own life; He swears to tell the truth, but reveals nothing.
Does it ring your bell? Do you remember any name that you have seen running advertising on TV?
Before we go, October 31st is Election Day in Brazil and Halloween in US. November 1st and 2nd is kind of Memorial Day in Brazil. Vote is “a lot of work”…therefore Brazilians will celebrate the new president and rest at the beach as usual. What about the dead people? What about the holiday?
God bless America and the United States. Get ready international market!

Election time in Brazil…does it ring your bell?
We are so sorry but we have to mention these powerful statements. We that do business or do international business have to follow very close the news and events.
It is scary what it was written back in 1786 and endorsed by Benjamin Franklin.
The 13 original states were busy approving their new constitution. Scottish history professor, Alexander Taylor, at the University of Edinborough wrote the following about “The Fall of the Athenian Republic.”
“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasure, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policies (money), which is always followed by a dictatorship.”
Then, Franklin came with this powerful statement which was “When people find that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.”
Do you know any country like that?

Can Brazil be the best place to do business in the next 10 years?
For the first time in its history Brazil is ahead of United States as investment final destination for foreigner nationals says UNCTAD World Investment Report 2010. http://www.unctad.org/
The BRIC bloc Brazil, Russia, India and China had their names mentioned as preferred places around the globe for investments.
Beating the financial crisis odds, the four countries were selected as the top five and they are China, India, Brazil, USA and last but not least Russia.
Our question to you is: are you ready to conquer Brazil?
