It is election time in Brazil and USA. Are you voting for you or for the country?

You are reading this blog now and you might be asking yourself what this business blog between United States and Brazil has to do with election in both countries?

We are sorry but we just can’t separate church from the state. We just can’t see or understand a government without the moral principles that the bibles says.

All we have to do is to look at history. Read all the stats before and after major religious decisions were made. Whether you are agree or not, whether you believe or not, that is a fact.

Do you remember the American founding fathers moral and religious principles? It is really sad that people and politicians had forgotten...and these principles made this country, the greatest country ever.

In Brazil is no different and Brazilians are going to the same direction, taking the same path and pay attention who Brazilians are considering to elect the next president.

No matter what people say but whomever Americans elect in this midterm election or Brazilians elect as the new president will have a generation to come impact.

The bible teaches us on Proverbs 29:12 – “if a ruler pays attention to lies, all his servants become wicked".

Also in the same book on verse 24 says that whoever is a partner with a thief hates his own life; He swears to tell the truth, but reveals nothing.

Does it ring your bell? Do you remember any name that you have seen running advertising on TV?

Before we go, October 31st is Election Day in Brazil and Halloween in US. November 1st and 2nd is kind of Memorial Day in Brazil. Vote is “a lot of work”…therefore Brazilians will celebrate the new president and rest at the beach as usual. What about the dead people? What about the holiday?

God bless America and the United States. Get ready international market!

Election time in Brazil…does it ring your bell?

We are so sorry but we have to mention these powerful statements. We that do business or do international business have to follow very close the news and events.

It is scary what it was written back in 1786 and endorsed by Benjamin Franklin.

The 13 original states were busy approving their new constitution. Scottish history professor, Alexander Taylor, at the University of Edinborough wrote the following about “The Fall of the Athenian Republic.”

“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasure, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policies (money), which is always followed by a dictatorship.”

Then, Franklin came with this powerful statement which was “When people find that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.”

Do you know any country like that?

Can Brazil be the best place to do business in the next 10 years?

For the first time in its history Brazil is ahead of United States as investment final destination for foreigner nationals says UNCTAD World Investment Report 2010. http://www.unctad.org/

The BRIC bloc Brazil, Russia, India and China had their names mentioned as preferred places around the globe for investments.

Beating the financial crisis odds, the four countries were selected as the top five and they are China, India, Brazil, USA and last but not least Russia.

Our question to you is: are you ready to conquer Brazil?

It is World Cup time. Do not disturb Brazilians, please!

If you do business with Brazil or it is considering doing business, take our advice and do not call during the World Cup next month. The South Africa 2010 World Cup is about to begin on June the 10th. Please, do not disturb because Brazilian will not be talking to you.

It is hard to believe that during Brazilian games, a country that big stops. The only thing that we know for sure that it will not stop it is the emergency rooms.

Brazilian soccer fans go crazy. Brazilian fans are passionate. Due to the dramatic tension during Brazilian matches people die and hospitals are getting ready. Can you believe that?

Brazil is on Group G and it will be playing on the following days.

June 15th – Brazil x Korea
June 20th – Brazil x Cote D’Ivoire
June 25th – Brazil x Portugal

It is an easy group for Brazil and we believe that we go ahead for quarter-final. Then, it gets tough for Semifinal and then final.

The bottom line is whatever it happens with Brazil team, the month of June will be pretty slow and chances are that everything will postponed for July. That’s Brazil. But don’t get discouraged there is election at the end of the year. Oh, boy…what a year!
